What are my key objectives?
Everyday, people all around us are losing their jobs and their homes. It hurts me to see family, friends, and hard-working people struggle to make ends meet because the good dependable jobs they once had are gone. Taxes and the price of goods are on the rise while the quality of life is declining. Let's keep the businesses here and keep people working.
Create and Retain jobs
Creating and retaining jobs is vital in our changing economy. Unemployment rates are the worst in the nation. Businesses are closing up and moving elsewhere in search of better opportunities. If we provide them with great opportunities and fair competition, they will continue their business here! I believe in hiring Michigan workers first. Giving priority to Michigan workers to perform jobs here in our own state, rather than those from out of state and illegal immigrants.
Business Incentives
In order to keep people working, we must keep businesses in Michigan. Unfair taxes have been imposed on businesses that are already hurting. Is it any wonder companies are shutting down or moving out of state? Lowering and restructuring the business tax will allow for fair competition and attract more businesses. By offering incentives to these businesses, we can keep jobs right here in our great state!
Better care for our Veterans
Our Veterans deserve more than just our thanks. Show your support for our freedoms and liberties that they served so proudly to defend. With your vote, you can help give back to them by providing them with the life they so deserve. Let's stand up for them, the way they stand up and fight for us!
